Really hoping this is something great. Maybe Bang Bang are the bullets they are killing pop punk with?

 

American Idiot is by far my favorite Green Day record but Warning is criminally underrated. Such a great album.

Actually they are releasing a Dispatch cover album.

 

I heard it was an updated version of the Comedy Bang Bang theme song

 

Really hoping this is good.

 

2016 is the year that made me appreciate blink-182 again, so I have hope for new Green Day.

 

Excited! Hopefully when Story of the Year releases their song with the same title, people don't think it's a cover and dismiss it.

Man, what a year for music. I feel like I don't have enough time to listen to everything! Pretty good problem to have, really.

 

People on the green day authority might have found the album title. "Revolution Radio"

They announced at the beginning of the year at a show that they were recording and played a new song "Bang Bang". They've played it at the last 2 shows they've done since as well, so I'm thinking it may be the single whenever they are done.

Crazy how much less excitement Green Day generates here than Blink

 

I could say the same for Brand New over Thrice. I'm cool it whatever though, at least people on here are still into rock.

 

That last triple album was utter trash. But I feel they moved into dad rock territory with it. 21st Century Breakdown had many problems, a lack of direction, a lack of curation, and a lack of any aggression. }

That said, if they can hit anything close to American Idiot level of greatness, I will absolutely be in heaven.
