The resale tickets to this in Chicago are ridiculous, but the Milwaukee show still has a bunch on sale for regular price and it is a weekend lol. Might be a no brainer to take a trip up there for the night, and even with hotel have it be way cheaper.
Having the same thought myself. I can pay almost $200 per ticket to rush to wrigley field after work on a weeknight or pay like $75, go hit some breweries before the show, and enjoy the show on a Saturday night.
Just pulled the trigger and bought a ticket for the San Diego date. Cant miss seeing both Dookie and American Idiot in full
Shockingly there were $25 tickets in the 100 level section for the Livenation sale so I'm going to Detroit!
Also if they say your day is sold out, there are still a good amount of official tickets (not platinum) open
I still have to book my flights for Nashville, but I've been checking the prices daily for some kind of dip before pulling the trigger.
I can’t wait for this tour! I’m really interest to see what else they are playing and how long their set is going to be.
Was just coming in to say this! I really can't wait to see the set list from today's show and see if it evolves/changes at all... I remain pretty perplexed as to how they're going to fit all of this into a single set for all dates given the number of openers, door/start times, curfews, etc.
On the tour poster it has a mark saying today show is a festival-non album show, same with Saturday show. The first proper show of the tour will be on June 5th. But these festival shows will give us a general idea of the setlist maybe
Ah, good catch! Thanks for keeping me straight on that. Haha. Based on Setlist.fm it looks like they opted to do Dookie in full plus TADIKM, Know Your Enemy, and some American Idiot tracks.
From the last update, it seems they played TADIKM, Dookie in full, Know your Enemy, American Idiot in full and closed with Good Ridance
Even better! I'm a little surprised they are option for "Know Your Enemy" and "Good Riddance" instead of two more songs from the new record, though... I get that the former is one they use for crowd interaction and the latter is arguably their bigggest hit but they've got plenty of hits on the two albums they're playing in full. And I'd think they would want to push/play "Dilemma" or something instead.
