$80 tickets (the cheapest ones) for the LA show dropped to $60 lol. Tempting, but still kinda wanna wait it out
I’m set on waiting this one out as long as I need to. Cheapest seats in Toronto are still like $130, I’ll bite when I see something sub-$100
If you guys aren’t dead set on great seats or anything, def wait this out. There’s gonna be all sorts of discounts/ 4 packs/ giveaways at venues in the city.
Tickets for Toronto haven’t changed price at all, gonna keep waiting. Will do last minute if I have to
Maybe I should've waited but as this is going to be my first time seeing Green Day (my favorite band of like 22 years) I really didn't want to miss the opportunity to get good seats, so I'm okay with paying a lot of money
Toronto is a market where you very rarely see tickets drop in price. Not sure of the reasoning but both Gaga and Beyoncé had premium seats in the Rogers center go unsold bc they never budged on the $500+ pricing.
I don’t go to a ton of stadium/arena shows so I didn’t know that, but that’s a shame. Worst comes to worst, I’ll just pay the same price they’re charging now a week before the show if I have to. Don’t see this one selling out
In this interview Billie says they'll be playing "a few more tracks off the record" (Dookie) as part of upcoming tour set lists (should start playing right as he says it). Doesn't get into what they might do for American Idiot.
I've seen "Burnout" a few times already so... Gimme "Sassafras Roots" and "Coming Clean" or "Having A Blast" and I'm good! Haha. Not to say I wouldn't get stoked on "Burnout" but y'know, priorities.
In my experience they do drop in most cases At minimum you see platinum seats revert to standard prices. Maybe Rogers Center is different - never have seen a concert there.
Probably should have checked to see that I had tickets to this in Philly before I booked a cruise at the same time, haha. Whoops.
It’s official, they’re playing both Dookie and American Idiot front to back https://www.rollingstone.com/music/...merican-idiot-summer-stadium-tour-1234947766/
I wonder if they will play both albums back to back in order, or just play all of the songs intermingled. The RS interview seems to come across like they are deciding which album to play first vs second, so that indicates entire albums at once.
Same! I'm less stoked on American Idiot because on the tour supporting that album (that I saw 3x) they played the majority of that record, anyway... But seeing Dookie live is pure bucket list shit. So to find out that it's happening after I already dropped the money on great seats is a fucking really, really cool feeling! I'll be curious to see how they divvy up the remainder of the set. I'm assuming they do at least two songs from the new record. And "Good Riddance." But beyond that... Do they stick with singles? Go for more deep cuts?
