i need to revisit this album, this thread reminded me of it, January 2024 seems like a lifetime ago

 

This song rules. Their power-pop side is unparalleled.

 

Those 5 callout songs in the latter part of the comment are all my high points from this one. Still sounds like Green Day but spreading the color beyond the normal palate.

This one fits in well with that between the power pop feel and the guitar solo. Just a fun song to hear live.

 

Been listening to this album and Revolution Radio a lot this week. Hadn’t really listened to either that much before (maybe once or twice when they were first released), was kinda surprised at how great they are, I pretty much checked out on new material from this band after the trilogy. Clearly I made a mistake!
