Don’t know the extent of it unfortunately.

I was told the song coming is called Smash It Like Belushi

Very interesting... I didn't think they would get on the deluxe album thing but I guess I can't complain about new music

Not sure about that title though lol

Why would they not include Fever from the Japanese release?

That's cool. Believe they haven't done a deluxe album during the album cycle since 21CB

I wish it was called Savors - 1 Year Anniversary Edition instead.

They've been really great at fan service the last handful of years. Saviors deluxe, Dookie + American Idiot tours, album anniversary re-issues with demos & live tracks, merch drops, etc etc. Cool to see them firing on all cylinders.

At least it's a decent number of new songs. Most deluxes tend to annoy me being a song or two and then some acoustic or live versions of others lol

Yeah it's not breaking the mold for Green Day songs but I like it a lot more than I thought I would based on the title, the chorus is amazingly catchy

Great song, would have taken this on the standard release over One Eyed Bastard or 1981. As said, super by the book Green Day non-single template but so punchy and catchy. Shenanigans vibes as per Look Ma.

This album keeps growing on me…I wasn’t super into the back half but I’ve changed my mind. Great songs front to back.

I dug Saviors but TBH the kinda by-the-numbers old school classic pop/punk template is not my favorite side of Green Day. I feel like they mute their own GD-sound to pay homage to that template. I think it was fine enough on the songs were they did it on Saviors like Coma City, Corvette, and 1981 but the songs like Strange Days, Look Ma, Goodnight Adeline, Dilemma, and Bobby Sox were what made the album fun for me. They played with some older GD stuff while trying some different styles with them.
