Nice spring weather day here today, so had this blasting in the car with the windows down. I’ve said it a few times, but seriously, what a great album. Really looking forward to seeing some of these live at the summer shows.

 

Corvet Summer is the ultimate driving with the windows down song.

They need to play the song on SNL and have Will Ferrell on cow bell again.

 

I've spent a fair bit of time with this album, and it just isn't grabbing me. Just feels by the numbers Green Day. I don't dislike it, it's still solid, but never goes beyond a 7/10 for me.

 

Still listening to this regularly. Most I’ve been into a Green Day album in 20 years.

 

I just love this more and more every time I go back to it. Even the songs that didn’t work for me at first have grown on me. Pretty easily the most I’ve liked a Green Day album since Idiot, and I’ve liked most of them.

if he was older than ahem... 1 and a half, I would be dragging him to Green Day with big ol headphones on. Definitely going to start with some local concerts in the park to ease into live music, but when he is old enough to want to see live music, my heart is going to melt. Or maybe he hates it, who knows hahaha

feels like doing a repress now means no deluxe id guess...

 

Next year is its 25th anniversary, so it could still happen

 

They played Saviors all the way through at the club show tonight!!

I would honestly be fine if they did that during the upcoming tour too and didn't play anything outside of those three albums

 

Im hoping the announce something for American Idiot's 20th anniversary soon.

 

They’re playing it full on tour.
