Would gladly see them at Fenway this summer. Pretty sure I’m seeing blink and Noah Kahan as well all at Fenway in the same week
Sick that they're playing both in full. Hearing "Homecoming" at WWWY made me want a front-to-back American Idiot set so bad. Going to be a great summer night!
Honestly breaking it down into small sections might work. I won’t sit in my seat. Can’t strap me down.
I think it's a cool concept and all but I feel like the majority of their setlists have been Dookie/American Idiot for the last 20 years anyway...I'd much prefer a Nimrod/Warning play through to hear some real rarities...though obviously that tour would not fill the seats
That would take some effort and I wouldn't rank them with the Green Day albums but as far as the main side projects I'd go: The Longshot BJA No Fun Mondays Billie/Norah The Network FHT PHG The Frustrators I'm sure I'm missing something.
That's ok ,I left out the Coverups and I have a record of theirs. I'd probably put them in the middle of my list.
Haven't done a discography run in a while but just threw on Nimrod. I don't need to tell anyone this, but the songwriting is just TOO good.
Nimrod songs (ranked upon preference; not an attempt at objective quality): Scattered Worry Rock Uptight Nice Guys Finish Last Redundant Walking Alone Hitchin' a Ride The Grouch All the Time Reject Jinx Take Back Platypus Good Riddance (I've just heard the song far too many times) Prosthetic Head Haushinka King for a Day Last Ride In
It feels so good to be so amped up about my favorite band again. Between the album, tour, and awesome interviews/promo, I am loving this era of the band.
Great news, but they're gonna have to hustle to play all of Dookie and AI in 90 minutes and there will definitely be no time for their beloved whoas. American Idiot in full, in order, is so badass. Can't wait for that.
So it looks like I'm the first stop of this tour. First time seeing both Green Day and Smashing Pumpkins.
Welp....just shelled out half a K for seats in Philly. Thought about getting field seats but my wife is going to hopefully be very pregnant at that point so I got front row seats in the stands so we can just sit and relax and not worry about her getting her view obstructed by someone's head lol. Couldn't pass up a chance to see American Idiot in full, let alone along with Dookie.
i skipped the singles on my first listen and im on track 14, outside of Bobby Cox I like every thing ive heard so far (and thats mostly just the lyrics, reminds me of Green Day doing a weezer impression)
I have so much green day related stuff but I thought last year I bought a four song ep by them through 1,2,3,4 go records. I believe it's just covers.
