Just saw Green Day play at Rockefeller Center subway station, pretty rad night tbh (and Jimmy Fallon, but we don't talk about him)
Okay so I just finished my listen-through (I technically still have the BJ solo album and second Network album but those don't count for this post). Always a blast whenever I get the chance to run through my favorite band's discography My ranking after this go-around: 1. American Idiot 2. Warning 3. Nimrod 4. 21st Century Breakdown 5. Kerplunk 6. Dookie 7. Trilogy 8. Revolution Radio 9. Insomniac 10. 39/Smooth 11. FOAM I'm sure the Insomniac placing is controversial but I've just never connected to that album like the others for some reason. I also still greatly enjoy all of this for the most part. Going through the side projects too, the FBHT album is fucking amazing and I also love the Network album. PHGP is mostly consistently pretty good with a couple of highlights and the Longshot album is great too What a band
I get not connecting with it as much, but that low is surprising to me. It has to be in my top tier of albums with the best drum production.
The Kerplunk to American Idiot run is pretty much flawless and it would be hard to rank those albums. They are all pretty much tied for 1st place depending on the day and my mood. Gun to my head Insomniac is probably my favorite.
