That during an album launch news and discussion related to a band being in an album thread is totally normal? Unsure what that has to do with my joke about not polluting a good album thread with talk about the bad albums.

 

I have the terrible feeling that One Eye Bastard is gonna be huge and I already hate it.

Conversely, what if they re-recorded Dookie and Insomniac and Nimrod with Trilogy production?

 

Doesn’t matter what the guitars sound like when your lyrics are absolutely terrible lol

 

Trilogy rocks. But I will concede that it is would have been awesome if they just recorded it all live to tape like they considered.

 

I just wonder why the only people selling the trilogy on Discogs are overseas. What’s up with that? I want to complete my collection, but I don’t want to spend $75+ for any of them.

The songs are bad Billie, the songs are just bad. Love yah, but thankfully you've done better.

 

If he absolutely must revisit the trilogy, just release a 7" with two mixes of X-Kid and call that chapter closed.

 

Heavily disagree. Trilogy will never be great, but it could be massively improved by production that doesn’t sound so bad. Especially if it’s a best of album. Nuclear Family Remixed with no shit from Dos would get my money.
