Is it me or the chorus has a similar hook to an Offspring song. Not sure if I'm thinking of the right band but this sounds so familiar

 

Heck yeah song rules! Id put this one #2 easily over american dream and look ma (dilemma still #1).

I really like the new Green Day song!!! Video is cool

 

Each song released has been better than the last. This song rules. Sounds very fun/loose.

Yeah I'm happy people are enjoying these new songs but they've not done enough for me to think this band are over a huge creative slump.

At this point they're a legacy band to me. I'd be surprised if I ended up loving the new album. I'll always have Dookie.

 

They had me with Dilemma, not gonna lie.

 

Do not like that one, feels very paint-by-numbers "stadium jock jam" to me.

 

Chorus is kind of generic (867-5309, Miss Murder as others have mentioned) but it's also kind of irresistible. Better than aping the Pink riff.

 

Listened to Warning this morning (my favorite) and if we're really gonna talk about Green Day influencing MCR/The Black Parade, we should talk about "Misery" being a precursor of sorts to "Mama" (both underrated songs).

 

Haven't listened to the other singles but this was in a new playlist and hated this song.

 

Why did they cover a Pink song?

 

4/4 for me, every song is fun

I listened to the song without reading/seeing anything at all, and the Pink thing was so glaringly obvious that I thought it had to be intentional.
