Well let's see, Blink's best album is TOYPAJ, which is weaker than Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, AI, and 21CB....
There's Green Day fans and there are Blink-182 fans. You cannot sway either to choose the other. #Fact #TeamBlink
Live, for sure. But I can't fully get into any of Green Day's albums, even Dookie. There are lots of songs I like from each album up to American Idiot (I haven't listened to any after that), but yeah... I just can't fully get on board with GD for whatever reason.
Any green day album is miles better than any blink album, if only bc tom delonge was never in green day
Blink 182 is American Pie music. Hasn't aged well. Dookie through Nimrod have aged rather well, Nimrod in particular sounds like it could have come out this year. I wish Matt would focus on another Alkaline Trio album. If we pretend anything before Dude Ranch never existed, Blink's worst is probably more appealing than Green Day's worst
Genuinely think Neighborhoods is a worse record than anything in the trilogy, with the possible exception of Dos.
I wouldn't take anything from the trilogy over Neighborhoods. Granted I've still only heard Uno in full, I listened to the other songs I see mentioned most, but I don't think I'm missing much from what people say lol. Of course, I'm a much bigger blink fan. Whenever I get in a Green Day mood, I kill them for a week and then have no desire to listen to them again for a long time. I can put blink on anytime. I said earlier I do think Billie Joe is the better songwriter but I just have a hard time comparing albums between the bands. They just have such different vibes to me, idk.
Still Blink vs Green Day? Didn't we do that yesterday? Haha. Album is growing on me, decided to go on a huge GD kick after watching Ordinary World last night. Going to go backward through the discography (and ignore the trilogy until the end, and then try them again, ugh).
I'm embargoed from saying too much about it until the week of 10/10, but I enjoyed it for what it was and was impressed with Billie's acting actually. I mean, it's not a great movie by any means and it's kinda more of a TV show than anything, and I have some complaints, but I never felt like turning it off. It was totally fine as a movie. I liked the songs though.
I could never in good faith even attempt to say Blink is better than GD. Practically hurts my heart to say.
