Saw Green Day on Sunday night and man, they have not missed a beat. Their live show was still absolutely nuts.
great performance, enjoyed that we could actually hear the harmonies. a lot of times on talk shows I feel like the mixing on the backup vocals isn't the best or isn't there at all. but I kept expecting billie joe to come in on guitar at like the end for a big sound but he just held it the whole time haha.
Terrible TV performance. Ugh. I like the song, but something about this performance just seemed like it was lacking any edge or something. I dunno. I remember when Green Day used to bring it on these TV performances:
Album is good, not great. This song is great (not flawless). As a huge Green Day fan this is a borderline top 10 song of the year if I had to make a list.
