Hahaha it's not a favorite of mine but I like it.

 

Hah, I just watched a video about this. Very interesting, and the song or two I heard from it sounded fun.

 

I still maintain that Dos isn't nearly as bad as everyone says it is outside of the lyrics, the music and melodies are great for the most part. Nightlife is bad obviously but there's an instrumental "jam" version with no vocals in Cuatro (the documentary on the making of the albums) that I've always thought was super cool so in my head canon that's the version on the album lol

I love Stray Heart, Lazy Bones, Ashley, Baby Eyes, Lady Cobra, Wow That's Loud, Amy and Makeout Party (despite the lyrics lol)

 

these guys have really lost me over the last few years, dont see myself having the motivation to check this out any time soon. too bad cuz this was basically the band that got me into music but everything after 21st century sounds uninspired af. hoping billy joe will do some pinhead gunpowder shit again sometime.

Last of the American Girls is a good song.

 

They released another new song.

 

Not sue what I think on first listen, but I think it is less terrible than all of the album, imo.

Haven’t listened to Tre in awhile and it’s aged quite well!

Still maintain Demolicious is the best way to experience the Trilogy. Includes most of the good songs and sounds so much better.

The trio is only exciting in any way if you have literally never listened to guitar music before.

I honestly feel like it's not even that close, either. Kerplunk! is such an impressive second album, some of those songs absolutely blow me away. Especially as they were barely 20 years old at the time.
