I enjoy the singles quite a bit and I'm sure I'll love this record, just feels weird to go here after Rev Rad
I'm not sure I agree actually. As much as I loved Rev Rad, I think it was them playing it super safe after the trilogy failure, it sounded like songs they could write in their sleep imo (not in a bad way, again I love that album!). I was really hoping they'd experiment again on the next one and it looks like I'm getting that wish
Usually songs grow on me but I tried listed info to motherfuckers a few times recently and I think I actually like it even less if that's possible. Let's release the album asap so we can move on to the next one.
I don't dig it too much. Good luck to 'em, though. I'll always love them despite my progressing music taste maturing, but uhh, just not for me. Hope it does cool for 'em.
I actually dig this even more than the first two songs (which I already liked), it's definitely not classic Green Day but I think it works for them. I could see this song getting pretty popular.
This is better than the first 2 singles no question. Dont mind this at all Video is lazy bullshit but song is decent
I don't like it very much. To me the chorus feels more like a pre chorus that should lead into something catchier and more exciting, idk
Just saw Billie in an episode of Drunk History yesterday playing Charlie Chaplin. That's really all I have to add to this.
Only gonna listen once since the album is already so short but first impression is that it's pretty catchy and different for them but it's also EXTREMELY repetitive, just verse-chorus-verse-chorus without any variations at all. I could see it growing on me more though
