Why wouldn’t that work? A lot of bands do Detroit/Chicago dates back to back on a decent amount of tours. Chicago/Detroit is a 4.5 hr drive on 94 and I don’t expect 2 nights for Detroit.
Set up time we don’t know how massive the stage set up is gonna be they might need 2-3 days for set up and I doubt they are playing more then 2 shows in a row without a break 2 days then a break or 2 day break or more depending set up. The entire run for revolution radio was no more the 2 days in a row then a day off or a few days off and when they played Wrigley there was a 3 day gap before and after there was one
I am very excited to see Green Day again and hear new music. Also glad I can ask for time off far in advance haha
I do think it's interesting that they'd (potentially) do two nights at Wrigley, when both Green Day and Fall Out Boy played Wrigley and neither sold it out on their own, so I don't know if the demand would be there for two dates even with this three-band bill.
Looks like all three bands are setting up at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles tonight. Convenient that Jimmy Kimmel has three nights of "mystery musical guests" this week too, eh?
I’ve never been to PNC Park, depending on what is going on around that time maybe I’ll make the trip to Pittsburgh and add another stadium / venue to my list.
If Pittsburgh is August 15...there is a chance that Cleveland could be August 13 (nothing scheduled at Progressive Field) or August 17 (nothing scheduled at Progressive Field).
