I will try getting tickets for the Chicago show. Any idea when tickets go on sale?

Ahhh I'm freaking out. Gonna try for NY, NJ and MA. Tickets are going to be a nightmare though.

Has anyone ever been a member of the idiot club? Thinking about doing it if it will actually increase my likelihood of getting tickets. I'm already a nervous wreck about this!

Yes, especially for these kinds of venues. It's worked for me in the past.

Holy hell! is there a non fan club pre sale?

Ugh. Tickets to the MI date are going to be near impossible to get.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Chicago is the largest venue of the club shows, which will hopefully make it easier for me to get tickets.

I really don't want to miss this, especially at the Fillmore, but man, the odds of me getting tickets is going to be slim.

I might just bite the bullet and join the fan club. I'm sure they will be impossible to get in the general sale. $20 might be worth saving me a little bit of anxiety. And it is a lot better than what the scalpers will be adding to the price of these tickets.

Getting tickets to any of the shows within driving distance will be near impossible. The Webster Hall tickets may be the hardest ticket to get of the year, like PVRIS sold out the place in minutes, imagine how fast Green Day will go.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

gonna try getting tickets to the Toronto show although Im not sure how the "venue" would work for this one, probably won't exactly be a club setting

I'm gonna try for Chicago as well. I've always wanted to see Green Day in a smaller room. I know the Aragon is big but compared to arenas, etc.

I wish blink would do a club tour. My first show was blink at House of Blues back in 2003 but since then I've only seen them at outdoor amphitheaters and festivals.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

They did in 2013, but none of the shows were in the Chicago area.

  17. Green Day at the Aragon would be a blast. Doubt I'll be able to get tickets though.

Well, PVRIS sold out the Studio in minutes. It took them almost a month to sell out the main room. I think the comparison you're looking for was LCD Soundsystem where it was impossible to get to the lottery for a CHANCE to buy a ticket.

Let me know if there's a fan club presale. I can't find anything saying there is.

    There is.

"Tickets will be available for purchase by Idiot Nation members on Wednesday, September 7th at 9:00 AM local venue time. For more info on the pre-sale, visit www.gdidiotnation.com."

  21. Daniel182

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Tickets are "credit card entry" for this tour. The credit card used for the purchase must be used for entry into the venue. This should help with scalpers.

I'm really surprised this isn't a more widespread practice. I don't know if it's the same thing as Flash Seats, where you technically still could sell your tickets and "transfer" them to someone else, it should still help reduce the problem.
