I'm enjoying elevated Hives Green Day.

  3. Sounds like Butch's American Hi-Fi songs from like ten years ago. Billie is unrecognizable.

This album must be some kind of a joke. They are trolling us.

Yeah it’s just okay. I prefer Father of All more. I definitely like the energy on these songs though. Still gets stuck in your head even if the chorus is 6 words

I don’t really understand the vocal effects.

Billie Joe’s voice is essential for Green Day. Good or bad.

Heyyyyyy now, I actually enjoy that album. This on the other hand is quite painful to my ears...

My god, I didn't think Green Day could get any worse than the Uno, Dos, Tre shit. They've really outdone themselves this time.

I think they are just messing around with this album and will release a proper Green Day album before the big tour. Billie Joe loves his side projects and it seems like this one just happens to be under the Green Day name. I mean even the album art is a rip off of the American Idiot art.

As someone who used to be waaaay more into green day and then grew away from them when the American idiot singles were played to death, I find this refreshing.

Umm it's actually called "Fire Ready Aim"

And idk I think it sounds like Billie. Why do y'all want him to sound the same every song????

  20. Cause it’s his voice?

Not to be that guy, but it's Fire, Ready, Aim. (Not that it makes the song any better lol)

This one is poop. But I do support the change in style.

  23. Sounds like they sped up his voice or pitched it up. It's different, that's for sure. I hated the first single, but I actually enjoy this one quite a bit. Especially when I pretend it's a band that's not Green Day, haha.

I don't understand the theory that Green Day is releasing an album just to get out of their contract. They're gearing up with a huge stadium summer tour and 3 out of their last 4 albums have been their worst material to date. They can't afford to half ass something just as a middle finger to the record label. At least it wouldn't make sense to me.
