I like it. The fast pace suits them.

Also... does anyone else get an Offspring vibe from the bridge?

Seriously their best song since anything off "American Idiot". Sounds like it would fit on "Nimrod" which is my favorite Green Day album!!

    Yes! I heard "Americana"

Said I'm okay, but I know how to lie.

Not a fan of these guys. Loved a couple of their old songs back then.
This song now is actually pretty nice.

I'm afraid i just can't into anything from these guys anymore. Warning is the last record I've actually truly enjoyed from them and from the sound of this, it looks like it's going to stay that way.

You have any good articles to link to which illustrates that?

    Aaaachem!

I'm so pumped for this. I really like half of Uno and two-thirds of Tre, but this is a nice focused effort. The lyrics in particular were throwaway on most UDT tracks.

    Might be Spider-Man...

First thing I've liked since 21st Century, it's promising

Love the song. Wonder how 'limited' this red vinyl is on the preorder site...

I think the song is kind of 'meh' but maybe its better within the context of the album? Either way, I'm excited to see them tour again. They put on a great show.

This sounds like a mix of Bad Religion and American Idiot, I fucking love it

Green Day is my Blink-182 for most of you guys so I could not be more stoked right now

I wish I could say something but silence is fine.

Reminds me of St. Jimmy. Which means they're back to politically fueled songs of the AI/21stCB era.

    Green Day >>>>>>>>> Blink-182

As AP's resident Green Day defender, I'm digging this tune. I'd take this any day over a record full of pandering garbage that was clearly made to keep the brand alive in order to tour.

I like it. Reminds me of this from last year:

Song sounds ok, not sure about it. I'm a bit worried about self producing. This needs to be good but I don't trust them as much as I wish I did

Looking at the album tracklist, I really hope "Bouncing Off The Wall" is a Sugarcult cover but it won't.

after the abysmal trilogy, this makes me so happy. i got chills listening to it and remembering the reasons i love green day and why they'll always be one of my favorites.

i'm surprised more people aren't loving this. i think it's the best thing they've released in quite some time. production is on point. to me, it embodies just about everything i love about them rolled into one song.

I'm a fan. It has a sense of urgency that was lacking on the trilogy.
