Holy shit this rules I'm always like a few weeks late finding the good albums lol.

As if I needed to be even more excited for the Rozwell/Chris Farren show

 

This is my favorite album of the year by such a large margin I can't really even believe it.

Yeah, I just splurged on this, the new Lomelda/Florist POs, newest Hovvdy, as well as Fist & Palm and Going By, lol. Can't wait, this is def the best label around

DDW definitely best label in indie music, EiS close second

 

i have weird feelings about eis, nothing bad just i see dan's posts way too often (and the using a review site to promote his own bands is slightly questionable). still a very good lineup! think i like topshelf and tiny engines more lately tho

 

I get that, but it'd also be weird not to cover the bands EiS has signed over on Post-Trash as they are some of the best in the pretty specific scene that they cater to

Pile, Ovlov, Stove and Krill are all among my favorite bands and the new Washer record sounds like it's gonna be gooood. Topshelf and TE are obviously incredible as well but that goes without saying

 

the part on favorite show where she goes on octave higher on the chorus just kills me.

 

oh yeah, definitely. just always interesting seeing that more EIS bands than any other made it at the top of the list, hahaha.

dan's just very very passionate about what he does, his publicist background definitely comes out quite often.

 

"Drink water instead, not your whis-KEYYYYYY" fave moment on the record hands down

 

man im still so into this.

 

Definitely grew on me over the 2nd listen. The highs on this album are realll good
