Great songs

 

Really excited for this. Loved four of arrows.

 

Think I'm gonna have to hit the record club thing for three releases. Both the Anxious and Great Grandpa albums are gonna hit hard, and I'm not aware of anything else in the pipe for them but Superheaven and maybe Runnner which I'll also want to get my hands on.

Never heard this band before but listened to the three singles and it’s sold me on this band. Junior is so, so good.

Four of Arrows is outstanding but the 3 songs from this that are out are so insanely fucking good. New music hasn't hit me like this in awhile tbh

 

Pulled the trigger on Philly tickets

 

The roll out has been so long that I’ve fell in love with and forgotten and then rediscovered the lead singles at least twice and the album is still 2 months away. Killer advance tracks.

 

Gone back and listened to Four of Arrows. Love it.

She sounds a little like Waxahatchee to me on Mono no Aware.

mono no aware and waxahatchee's fire have a lot in common and also happen to be two of the best songs ever made

 

Philly show was siiiiiick. Al said he’s getting used to singing again (and hinted that potentially the songs sound a little different as a result of his transition), but idk what he was talking about outside going a little lower on the first two songs because they were all in great form.

The opening band was this NYC group called Grumpy that everyone in here should check out. They absolutely blew me away, great double bill.

I’m going to try to abstain from listening to more singles until the album comes out but I’m hyped out of my goddamn mind for this

 

Ladybug is so damn good.

 

it was more noticeable at the LA show. he'll get there. as hard as it must be to change your singing normally he's basically flipped his range so it's even harder. Was stoked af that we got Mostly Here. Was worried we wouldn't. Only got one off Plastic Cough and the changes honestly were great.

 

I'm been holding off on listening to new songs and can't wait to get this in the queue in a couple of days.
