to be fair, they've released new songs. they just haven't put out anything other than one off singles.

 

Crazy that it's been four years since Umbra. Really hope a new album isn't too far off.

Not bad, but forgettable.

Not Afraid To Die is one of my favorite songs this band ever released. Was hoping for more like that.

 

Feels like they really wanted to write a Third Eye Blind song, but didn't really understand what makes a Third Eye Blind song so great.

 

I mean I think that's what this band does. While Nella Vita enjoyable it definitely came across as 1975-lite at points. And it was for the same reasons you stated. They never did the homework and look into the previous influences.

 

Oh wow - it really is a 3EB song lol nice. Def has bside vibes written all over it though. This doesn’t touch the last two records.

 

The other two singles are so good. This song is a bit of a letdown but still excited for the album!
