The more and more I think about it I think Grayscale is going to follow the career trajectory and business model of The Maine
They are accepting donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in honor of Collin’s cousin, Tommy. You can donate at the link, along with learning more about the song and the video from when they performed it on their fall tour. http://afsp.grayscalepa.com/
In My Arms sounds straight off of The 1975 s/t to me, Baby Blue is way up there too but otherwise yeah there aren’t a ton of striking similarities
Never thought that they really sounded similar, but the guitar tones and 90s vibes in Painkiller Weather compliment each other, imo
I just got into this over the holidays. I'm loving a lot about it but I just wish the lyrics were better so I could listen without headphones.
"Had to google Saskatoon yesterday. Didn’t know it was real." What an incredibly dumb thing to say about a place you are playing a show in on tour.
I really loved their prior release, but cannot get into this one as much. Not the biggest fan of the direction they went in with their sound.
Loved Nella Vita. The whole album sounds amazing live, but live show in general just pops off. Everytime the chorus of In Violet hit it was cathartic.
