I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

The second half is their “defining moment” in the discography

After having a full day with this record I really enjoy it. Obviously it’ll take a bit to grow on me as much as I love Adornment but I love the direction they’ve taken with this. Honestly I can’t wait to hear these songs live.

Collin mentioned in their AMA yesterday there’ll be a new music video on Wednesday and he hinted it’ll be for Young.

Whats On Your Mind is so immeasurably catchy... can't help but listen on repeat. The entire thing came at me as a shock, and I love it.

This album is awesome! Really cool progression for their sound, and so many earworms.

This is the kind of pop rock I've been missing recently. Very into it on first listen.

I haven't listened enough to make that call but I can see it going that way. It's so fun.

You know, Jason mentioned the "Horny boy" music thing, and i've just come to realize that the Wombat's Glitterbug is that to a T.

Still in love with this album as a whole.

I really didn't get a Horny Boy feel from this album all that much...idk what I'm missing.

I didn’t either. There are definitely songs and lyrics about sex, but I think “horny boy” is a stretch.

There's like 2/3 references to sex on the whole album right? weird to even pick up on it imo.

there are only a few lyrics that stand out as bad to me

"When we fucked in my car"

"They say the saddest people in this world laugh the hardest"

some others I'm forgetting now but those two stick out like a sore thumb

  20. The only lyrics that don’t jive with me are the Desert Queen ones. They’re a little too “ra ra hopeful youth” for me to relate to. I’m done hearing songs about setting places on fire, and the dancing metaphor for sex falls on the wrong side of cheesy imo

The “fucked in my car” line is certainly a little jarring but idk. Sometimes you really just be out here fuckin in a car, lol. Most people have been there — it doesn’t bother me that he chose to put it as bluntly as it happened in his memory

I don’t mind the “saddest people laugh the hardest” lyric too much.

“Just stay inside me don’t let this end” though, is AWFULLLL

I heard gospels singing in my head
I saw angels they’re holding your hand
And I’m praying that it didn't hurt too badly, my friend
I'll see you soon, it's not the end
