Holy christ is that ever a long wait for an album. I dig Grandaddy but oh boy, I don't really understand why some labels insist upon dragging out the roll-out process to half-a-year extents.

 

based on the way the preorders are, it almost seems like a crowdfunding preorder to a point. high prices and lots of options and bundles

 

Oh, really? I just figured they might've been vying to go the same route as Beck was with his newest.

 

i mean i'm just making a guess. 25 dollar LPs, signed LPs, test press bundles...sort of reminds me of rewards for a kickstarter, haha

 

he hasn't released any material in a while, outside of the two songs being released on the album as well. crowdfunding makes sense. here for it.

 

Cannot wait.

 

There was a new song I saw him play live in the past year. "Old Dirty House" or something along those lines. It was amazing. I hope it's re-named and on this album.
