first listen is solid so far. there's some immediacy but this feels more knotted up/challenging than his last couple LPs. excited to untangle all the layers. enthusiastic reminder that his 2022 LP is astonishingly good:
mmhmm, lots unlocking for me already. He is so good at using a totally separate melody for his second verses. Absolutely going to try and do that for à song, seems hard to make feel natural the way that he is able to
yeah some of these songs have a real melody-first feel. like he came up with the chords after (Power Object's chorus)
