Sex Murder Party is easily the worst song on Humanz and they played a 10 minute version when I saw them lol. Circle of Friendz is bad too but other than that I mostly really like the album.

 

Even if it wasn't bad, it has no place being the last song on the album when Hallelujah Money is the perfect closer.

 

Always down for more Gorillaz.

 

10 minute Sex Murder Party sounds either hilarious or astoundingly bad haha

that and We Got the Power are the only straight up skips. the pointlessly shorter Carnival is annoying too, 2Ds part on that was the highlight

It’s official: Gorillaz to release new album next month

 

I really hope "Idaho" isn't on the album. If it's supposed to be a new direction, I'd like something weird and groovy.

 

I dunno, I loved Idaho at the show I was at

 

It's not that it's a bad song because it isn't. I just don't want an album of that style. Like one of my favorite Gorillaz songs ever is "Hong Kong" but I don't want 14 tracks of that.

ooh haha, I wasn't sure if it was anything new. We'll see if what he said then sticks for now!

 

Kind of hope it doesn't haha. Not a bad song, just doesn't seem album quality to me.

That's actually pretty groovy. I dig it.

I love how this song instantly strikes me as something I want to hear more of where Humanz had to grow on me. This is a good sign for the rest of the album.

 

Sleeping Powder was more catchy than anything on Humanz. I hope this record goes that route.

Sleeping Powder was SO SO good. Favorite thing to come out of that session.
