There was something about "The Now Now" I couldn't get into. Still dig the rest though, mainly "Plastic Beach."
The Now Now has some really good songs, but I'd probably rank it near the bottom of their discography.
I don't like rating albums with this band, I love so many of the b-sides and loose songs, and like the Fall and everything after seems so hard compare. The self titled and Demon Days are maybe top ten all time albums for me, and Hong Kong is my all time fav song.
I think I'm definitely going to try to see the documentary, sounds awesome. Lots of rappers/musicians I like are confirmed in it, pro-shot footage from the tour sounds amazing, plus more of the virtual band is always welcome
Very glad I didn't go pay to see it in the theater if they were going to release it for free this soon lol Can't wait to watch sometime in the next few days
