iPads have taken a lot out of Damon's musicianship. He's such a unique talent and I get ease of convenience and that but his sound layering used to be up there with the best, especially with real instruments

It always makes me laugh how it's an American colloquialism to say in the hospital. As though there's only one
wait, really? what else would you say? It's like going to the doctor, or the dentist, or the mall, or the store, or almost anything.
I mean, I'd probably say 'the hospital' in conversation if I was referring to a specific one to which the other party of the conversation was aware I was referring. I just find it weird in news headlines and articles and stuff. Like this
I mean, it's no different from hearing "maths" from Brits. I get that it's short for Mathematics, but it just makes it sound plural as "maths" which is ridiculous.

I didn't really listen to this band except maybe for the singles, but I gave The Now Now a spin some weeks ago and it's all I've been listening to. This is seriously so good. Might be my favorite record this year. Really enjoying their old albums a lot too. I can't believe it took me this long to get into them.
It sounds like Damon might go into Gorillaz hibernation again soon.... Gorillaz’ Damon Albarn Speaks On His Years Of Festival Experiences
I was actually thinking about selling my ticket for the Brooklyn show cuz I'm broke......but it sounds like this'll be the last tour for a while.
He has a new The Good The Bad and The Queen album coming out which he's going to tour and promote (if I remember correctly) and then he's got some side projects as well. He also said he has another Gorillaz record ready, but isn't sure when he's going to do it.
