New album on March 20th, new single on September 11th, Kong Studios interactive website returns September 10th.

Lore wise there are hints they are going to The Mountain from Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head because there is audio of Dennis Hopper on this album.

If I had to guess it's their label's fault again. They fucked up the rollout for Cracker Island as well.

Dennis Hopper for sure, but he worked with Tony Allen and Mark E Smith both before they died, I think

New song is great. Glad they're leaning into an older sound a bit and that this seems to be extremely theatrical. Super down with the fact that it has a lot of Indian artists and influence.

good catchy song, now I will entirely tune out of this rollout for 5 months

Everything from the single, album art/aesthetic and tracklisting is giving me very Demon Days-vibes, I'm really excited for this one. Feels like they put more effort into this one than Cracker Island (which I still really enjoyed)

Supposedly they went super hard into this one for lore and art as well as keeping a single thematic element (this time I believe it's Indian culture/gods but I'm not positive on that, just what I've read). It definitely feels more like Demon Days/Plastic Beach than everything else they've put out as modern Gorillaz. People keep saying it's just more Cracker Island and I don't see that at all.

tracklist looks dope. Asha Puthli rules, listen to this album from 1976 if you haven't

It's going to be really difficult but I think I'm not going to listen to any more songs until the album is out.

This song is fucking nuts but I think it's amazing, the beat changes are so nice and all of the performances are great

Never thought there would be a posthumous Proof feature on a Gorillaz song in 2025
