where's this intel from? Also I'll never understand why Humanz isn't beloved but that's a whole other story
Gorillaz Damascus Review: Omar Souleyman & Yasiin Bey Unite | Neon Music Damon's Zane Lowe interview apparently is the original source also I love Humanz, my alternate tracklist with some of the b-sides swapped in is one of my most listened
I don't mean to give you shit, but "I love that album that I absolutely do not listen to in its original intended format" is a hilarious take.
Of course it is, but it's the act of totally rearranging the album and adding non-album material and then full throatedly saying "I love this album" that's just so funny to me. I mean, I made a single album out of the Green Day Trilogy and I love the mix I made but I can't say I love the Trilogy. Clearly I don't because I spliced it to shit.
Eh, semantics. Their last few had sequencing that sort of felt like collections of songs anyway. This is their first in awhile to feel cohesive and like it’s telling a story
I did not totally rearrange it actually! swapped the interludes and a few songs I don't like for some b-sides I do like, not sure why you're making a big deal out of that lol
I liked Mountain on first listen more than Cracker Island, I'll say that. Might even end up in top 5 favorite albums of theirs idk
