This is my favorite Gorillaz song. Absolutely breathtaking. So glad they put this on streaming services.

This is kinda fun, being promoted as Season One - Episode One. I wonder if they are going to release like.... EPs (seasons) with each episode a song, or something fun like that. Probably will have visuals for each song too

Basically sounds like Gorillaz version of Kenny Beat's The Cave but that sounds incredible so I'm in. I hope they release all the songs as an album at the end

b) Jonny was kicked out of that band and their new singer is badass, I'm keeping an eye out for any music with the new singer because I dug him previously. Haven't listened to any of their Jonny-era stuff before

I think shifting from an album project to a catch-as-catch-can project where they can make songs/videos/etc. at random is a great idea for Gorillaz. I love the song. Just...it's now really scattered oddly all over streaming.

I wasn’t really anticipating much, but it turned out to be a really fun song. It helps that Slowthai has been growing on me recently. Also the little Rita thing was cool. Curious to see where they go with the episodes stuff

 

Yeah I love how punky this is, it's always been a sound I've wanted both Gorillaz and slowthai to explore more and they did it on one song lol
