Really feels like they're owning their fan base with the title

Yeah extremely weird rollout, and also their worst album cover. Both songs so far are great though

Gorillaz Setlist at Kia Forum, Inglewood

Saw them last night and it was insane. Beck! Tame Impala! Thundercat! Schoolboy Q! De La Soul! Del!

They premiered the new song with Beck and it was good, wasn’t expecting it to be a ballad after how funky their last collab was haha

    so much for them! Prestigious

saw them on wednesday at barclays (my third time seeing them) and it was so much fun. the setlist waa incredible , so many tracks i had never seen them play. seeing miho hatori, bootie, de la soul, and del perform their tracks live was amazing.

closing with the clint eastwood remix was the coolest part of the night definitely didnt think id ever see that live. i always remember the fast forward option on the cassette player i had when i had the self titled was broken, so id have to sit through like 15 minutes of silence to hear that remix lol (i think the american version of the album had dracula instead).

Cracker Island? They’re making a concept album about the UK?

Man every single from this has been so fucking good. They played another new song live that was absolutely incredible too (Skinny Ape)

I really wish this had a different cover and was called The Last Cult though

Yeah, either The Last Cult or The Static Channel like the tour or phase is called or whatever.

Apparently even Jamie was confused by this album cycle.

I skipped the last couple records but caught "Cracker Island" on alt radio. Were it not for Damon's vocal I would not have clocked it. I don't think there's anything special about his production style or songwriting anymore.

    Oh snap!
If we get a new Gorillaz album AND Blur album in the same year that'll be wild.

be so down for that. The Magic Whip was insanely good for a comeback album

if I made a blur top 50 I don't think anything from that album would make it tbh
