just got home and hit play, missed seeing Echo of a Rose on the tracklist before. they've really got pretty much every live grail I've been waiting for on this thing

 

Madalena is full on Bruce Hornsby vibes lmao. really cool how there's lyrical links between this, Royal and Turbulence

 

Another solid album from da boiz

this Echo of a Rose:

 

never heard Jed Stone live but this is absolutely gorgeous, one of their most beautiful songs ever. reminds me a lot of something from the 80s or 90s that I can't place

 

This album captures the live feel pretty good

 

just wrapped it up, they nailed it imo. definitely feels more like the band in a room just thrashing it out where EMG was a lot more textured and experimental, they complement each other so well

will have to get used to a few changes like the slow tempo on Rockdale, and maybe a few tracklisting gripes too (not sure about Hot Love as the opener and think Empress should be the closer) but this is neck and neck with EMG right off the bat

 

this Mr. Action is a vibe and a half

 

Empress is a straight up prince song and I love it

 

Royal really is The One, might be a top 10 Goose song already
