just randomly found Borne on bandcamp, this is a cool fucking song, gonna give this album my attention
couple songs I don't love in the back half but this album is sweet. Honeybee was an instant favourite
there are...so many on bandcamp haha. I started scrolling through and broke out in a cold sweat, that's a lot of stuff to listen to
I've been too scared to admit it in here.... but I prefer their studio albums by far to their released live sets. That being said, I am sure if I ever saw them live in real life, I would BY FAR prefer to either. I just never have been really into live albums in general.
i just submitted requests for their lottery system for tix to shows in the spring. gotta say, i like the idea of a lottery. wonder why more big artists don't just do that...
anybody have recs on the essential live stuff, because there's not enough hours in the day/money in my bank account to work through all of this haha
I listened to Alive and Well, and the whole time I was thinking "this would probably be SO FUCKING COOL if I was there, but sitting at my desk this isn't hitting all too much"
I’m fairly new to them, but of the shows I’ve listened to, I find myself returning to March 12, 2022 - The Fillmore (Philly) the most. All I Need sets the tone and they just don’t let up from there.
I might start with the Peach Fest show, after doing some research that appears to be *the big one* also just finished Moon Cabin, it may have been my least favourite of the 3 but Arcadia is a jam
I recommend 11/22/21 Mission Ballroom in Denver. Entire show is killer and that Arcadia jam is what this thing is all about.
me after getting the 4x 4 day pass to phish vegas 21 me after striking out for phish new years 22 point is....welcome
Seat Geek for the instantly sold out show in Chicago says otherwise but I want to believe! Goose Tickets Chicago (The Salt Shed) - April, 04/15/23 at 8:00pm | SeatGeek
I think I can comfortably say Dripfield is my favourite work by these guys so far, although I've really enjoyed checking their discography and there's good jams everywhere. they really locked into a consistently great set of songs here imo, it's something special
My entry into these guys was Moon Cabin & it was their most recent studio LP at the time. I feel the same way about that LP as you do with Dripfield. I wonder if Goose studio albums just have this weird thing where they hook new fans off their most recent release.
lol could be. I do like Moon Cabin, parts of it lose me, but Arcadia, Lead the Way and Jive II are hitters
