I heard Goedde went absolutely apeshit on the lights for this show. Like an absolute blinding frenzy. Many, many phans online were saying this is the best they've seen outside of Kuorda, who is obviously the king. And they will 10000% post the full-show video. Goosemas 2020 has 150,000 views on YouTube.
Saw the boys in Charlotte. They brought the heat right away with that ripping Creatures. Slow Ready->Hot Tea was very cool. Love to hear that arpeggiating keys riff go into other songs, like Slow>Arcadia (11/6/21 ATL). but boy did the venue suck. Maybe for a smaller band, but Goose had it packed to the gills. Sound wasn’t great. Couldn’t hear Peter much and the bass was really muddy.
Yeah in a group of friends where our only connection to the jam scene is one friend and going to Scamp, Billy is the clear favorite and I’m the only one who hasn’t seen him multiple times now since we all first saw him at Scamp last year. None of these people are country/bluegrass people either, he’s just so endearing. Would’ve been seeing him back to back to back this year with Bon Iver and Jeff Rosenstock but the show sold out soooo quick

A a fan of Vampire Weekend, this quote excites me: "But Dripfield is a consistently engaging pop-psychedelic record, like a trippier Father Of The Bride."
weirdly makes me miss office work after converting to fully remote. for that reason, I'm not gonna watch it again haha
They are saying about 25000 people were there watching! I think they picked a great set for the festival crowd.
Mitarotonda credits his early love of emo and punk bands with instilling in him an appreciation for well-written songs and memorable hooks. $5 says Rick used to post on AP
Man some these album tracks are something. That 1-2 punch of Honeybee and 726 really fucking hits. Hot Tea is probably my favorite, just dark smokey lounge vibes. I hope everyone loves it!
