I could not care less about the awards, but it would be amazing if Sean Price Williams got that level of recognition. Dude’s a master.

Alex Ross Perry’s work is great, particularly Listen Up Phillip and Queen of Earth (probably his best work as a cinematographer and ARP’s best film.)

 

Any of the Alex Ross Perry films he's done (Queen of Earth being my favorite) and Heaven Knows What

 

Ooh, yeah! Heaven Knowns What is excellent too. I might prefer it to Good Time wrt the Safdies too.

 

I still need to watch Heaven Knows What. Maybe this weekend...

I'm pretty sure I saw Listen Up Phillip, but I'll definitely add Queen of Earth to the list.

I fucking love the look of Good Time but this has to be Deakins year

 

Welp this made me sad but it was good

 

I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as I hoped I would. Great camera work and a couple great performances, but overall just didn't hit me.

Wow, just watched this on Prime. The ending was brutal.

 

This was so good but a few times I felt sick watching it. Wanted to take a shower when I was done.

 

Certainly a wild time, and the score was fantastic, as expected. Not sure quite how much I liked the movie overlal, but Pattinson was great.

 

This honestly might have surpassed Blade Runner as my favorite movie of 2017. I still think about it daily. So great

Finally got to watch this. I can’t say I loved it but it was very good and has a handful of moments and scenes that will stick with me. The music was very good.
