    really enjoyed the first episode. i love the book and hearing some of the parts narrated by Frances makes me wish there was an audiobook by her

    As somebody who read the book and watched the show and knew that the show adapted the entire book, I was surprised too when I read the news, but apparently Neil Gaiman says that he and Pratchett had discussed how a potential follow-up would go for quite some time, and I assume that's where this new season would be headed.

    As a Pratchett fan, I'm still leery of how this might turn out, but it's as much Gaiman's as Pratchett's, so as long as he's still involved (which he is), I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

    Yeah, from what I read, they definitely had a direction to write when their schedules allowed for it. Would have been great to have a proper follow up. Excited to see what direction he ends up taking it.
