Yeah I listened.. He doesnt really say anything about the current state of the band but he refers to GOW a lot like "Towards the end..." or "That band.." He was saying how the tours dried up (Unless he was talking about Days Away in that instance) and how he's not as rowdy as he used to be and living in Atlanta now, etc.
Only thing I ever really connected with from this band was this delightful little tune Days Away was pretty neat also
Thats nuts man, they have so many gems. "Come Back As Rain" was the one Calling Me Names came from, that's the third record and has a lotta good ones. My favorite from that is prolly "Can't Go Home."
Come Back as Rain is a gorgeous, luminescent folk-pop record and I would recommend it to anybody. I love all of their records but that one really gets me. I need to spend time with those eps
The new 3 EP's are some of my favorite GOW work, I actually find myself listening to them a lot alongside their first album stuff, etc. I also like to put them in order and pretend they are just one album.
They honestly don't have a bad album, though the self-titled is probably the one I come back to the least. Broken Into Better Shape is a bit of a departure, but also an excellent collection of pop-rock jams. I also still really need someone to press Mapping an Invisible World on vinyl.
GOW always batted a thousand, or whatever the sports term is, I don't know sports. GOW was an amazing band who made beautiful music, that is all
new Keith solo demo Where Do We Go From Here STEMS 126BPM, by Keith Goodwin He also uploaded all stems for anyone to remix or whatever they want
I paid for it. Least I can do in these times and im someone who wont stop working unless the stores close.
Annnnd this is why I miss GOW.. I get that they all 3 wanna do different stuff right now but I just dont get how GOW didnt get bigger. Every single person i've shown them to ends up lovin' em.
