Last of the trio of EPs is out December 7!! Every Morning Ian’s Song (Believer) Looking Back Misty-eyed Halfway to Ruin
These EPs have been fun but that Found Wild release Tim and Keith put out is what really grabbed me from them this year.
Dan has a new record out under his Danny Black project. Loved Adventure Soundtrack, excited to check this one out.
RED ALERT RED ALERT. Guys, Good Old War might be broken up... I found this article about Joshua Radin from May and there is a direct quote about Dan: “I’ve always loved Danny’s guitar playing,” Radin said. “And then when his band broke up, I said, ‘Hey, man, you want to come on the road with me?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’ ” Singer-songwriter Joshua Radin goes from ‘We Were Here’ to ‘Here Right Now’ Nothing has been posted on social media from the official band pages in 2019 at all. The last post on Facebook is from December 2018 Keith and Tim have toured with Anthony at least once this year, Keith did the TSOAF tour, Dan has played solo, with Radin and Maps and Atlases this year... but nothing with all 3 guys the entirety of 2019. Someone hold me close and tell me it's ok. The band members have been pretty active on social over time, so I messaged them on Instagram... just in case
hmm i kinda figured they were taking a break, i feel like they would have said something if it was a definitive break up but idk
I'd be bummed if they called it a day, but hope even if there's no more Good Old War that Dan keeps doing Danny Black and Keith and Tim do more Found Wild (I really love that EP)...or any configuration of the three really, even if it's not all of them together.
Aww man really? Dang...really love whatbthey had with the most recent trip of EPs. Would be sad if it was just over
Podcast with Tim, I haven't listened because it's an hour, but maybe there's some clarity on the status of the band Episode 10. Tim Arnold of Good Old War - Tone Catcher
