I still like CDs because I have so many of them and my car only has a CD player, but yeah if the vinyl has a decent price I often pick up that instead. I’m just a sucker for signed copies, haha. I have that Madden Brothers album on vinyl signed.
Yeah I do appreciate their diversity. I'm glad they toned down the corniness this time as well. I hope I can manage to see them in February.
Man I really like this album after just one listen. Don't know where I would rank it against their other albums but I'm thinking maybe as high as 4. I just can't see myself ever liking a GC album as much as I like their self titled and YAH as those albums were a huge part of my pop punk roots.
My favourite GC album by far is The Chronicles of Life And Death, probably followed by YAH and YA. I don't like GMR, with some notable exceptions.
Yeah GMR is my least favorite too although The River might be my favorite GC song. I didn't like Chronicles when it first came out but it has grown on me. I think Cardiology is pretty underrated.
Yeah completely agree. I love the first verse of All Black. I also like Misery. I haven't listened to the whole album in years though.
I liked this a lot more than i was expecting too. Hearing the Generation Rx transition into Self Help for the first time put a smile on my face.
This album is actually pretty good. My favorites so far are Self Help, Leech and Better Demons. I'm surprised by the heaviness of this record, the drums and guitars are amazing.
I'm not taking any chances on buying a CD before I know if there will be a Japan or Best Buy exclusive edition.
I hear you. I searched everywhere and couldn't find any information about having any B sides anywhere. I finally caved this morning and got it from iTunes so I could listen to it during my drive today.
Yeah that's the biggest thing that surprised me. GC usually has 12 to 15 songs per album plus 3 or 4 B sides.
Yeah, Id put that one up there with Self Help and Actual Pain. The only one I would maybe skip is Better Demons, but it isn't bad by any means.
I got it, but I’m not USA. funny how I was just thinking yesterday how I had hardly listened to it after disliking We Are Done so much. I’ll give it a chance this week
