Album is all over the place. No cohesion between songs but I guess it’s what they wanted.

It’s fine, some good songs along the way. Might listen to 3 or 4 over time but this is what this band has always been to me.

 

I never noticed til now but Joel & Benji look more like each other nowadays than before.

 

25th anniversary self titled merch available on their website. Glad I never got the album on vinyl. Perfect time to pick up the special edition!

 

I picked up the vinyl yesterday. Looks like they still have it, but all the clothing is sold out. Odd with only 500 copies lol

 

In Too Deep hook by GC actually sounds perfect

Joel talked about this on a recent podcast episode but didn’t name the song at the time. Excited to hear it!

 

This is excellent!

 

It cool, but that song doesn’t really lend itself to covers or interpretations to me because it’s a perfect song imo

 

Precisely what I wanted to say. I'd even say Shane's voice will always be a quintessential necessity when it comes down to this song.

 

Fun fact: First time I heard the song was the NUFAN cover. I still get a massive brain shock at use of the f-word in it.
