What is the dynamic here? Are the brothers the only official members?

 

No, but they are co-frontmen and joined at the hip so this happens sometimes

 

No, Billy and Paul are very much official band members, this was just a random one off thing the brothers did. The full band played a few nights ago at Welcome to Rockville.

The only member who’s status is uncertain is Dean.

 

Often when there is an interview or guest appearance by “good charlotte”, they just mean the twins. They are much more known celebrities than the other band members for numerous reasons.

 

Yeah I get that - I grew up on these guys but hadn’t really paid attention since Good Morning Revival. Would definitely take my wife to a show because she never saw them. I lost touch with them so much I genuinely didn’t know if Billy and Paul left once I watched 30 secs of that American Idol performance. The brothers definitely sound great considering most TV appearances are lackluster.

 

If you get the chance, do it. They actually put on a really great show.

 

Random thought about GC drummers. I wonder what Chris Wilson is up to these days?

he was with the summer obsession for a while. Not sure about after that.

Didn’t they say the album was coming out in the fall? I would have to time we will be getting a single soon.

 

August they said, which isn't that far away all things considered. Must be a short roll out?

 

Oh I must have been thinking of NFG. If GC is August then we have to be super close to new music.
