Listening through, I def remember loving S.O.S. and Predictable, those were the only ones I played a lot
no reason why it should have less than ghost of you lol. And wow, i just wanna live is way separated from the rest. Even predictable!
I remember watching the premiere of the Predictable music video on Fuse and being surprised of the musical direction.
I wonder what chris wilson is up to nowadays. I know he was with the summer obsession years back before they broke up.
happy 20th to Y&H. first album to really make me get into music and and everything i listen to to this day
FYI Urban Outfitters is pressing the first 4 albums: https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/search?q=good charlotte First time Chronicles and GMR have been pressed. Ill be getting those!
Weird to think that GC was on verge of being FOB-level famous in 2004 but Chronicles was a really divisive record combined a portion of their fanbase growing out of that style of music.
It at least has some songs worth listening to. I'd say Misery, The River, Dance Floor Anthem, Broken Hearts Parade, March On, and Jealousy (bonus track).
I enjoy most of those songs, I just don’t like them as much as most of the heavy hitters from all the other records. Do love this band though
It'll never happen but I'd do anything for a 20 year anniversary or some kind of celebration for TCOLAD.
I Just Wanna Live as huge here and still gets played on the radio sometimes, it definitely didn’t hurt them
I always thought the title track was a bit underrated. It's not really a good single (even though they released it as one in the UK), but I always really enjoyed it. I kind of wish the album would have just led with that instead of the instrumental. Side note: I saw Joel has been doing a podcast for Alternative Press, interviewing different artists. That's great an all, but how about some new music!
