Makes me think of bad Sugar Ray. Anyway, let's wait for the full album if there's still some hope for them...

Video was full of some fun throwbacks at least, like Benji with the massive liberty spikes.

Why is this about California though? They used to rep DC and Maryland...

I had hopes for this album....that was terrible...

    Things have changed.

Good news: There are 11 other songs on the album!

Lol couldn't come close to finishing that. Embarrassing.

Oy. That was rough. Can't say I'm surprised. Even when the "guitar" comes in at the chorus, its so muted and polished that it barely breaks through.

that's what confused me the most...never really considered them a 'California band', myself

Sadly, I can relate to the message and it is catchy (to me). I'm excited.

It's both bad and good haha. It's kind of bad in that way that some Good Charlotte songs are while still being kind of good. I don't think it is nearly as good as the first song released.

Theres some elements of this song I like, and some I don't. Overall its pretty meh. Makeshift Love was wayyyy better. This is pretty catchy though.

Still think this album could be pretty good.

    rage and love

I chuckled at the "mum taking selfies" line. The song just doesn't flow well from the verses to the chorus. Needs a pre-chorus I think.

  18. Yukiyuuki

    No good deed goes unpunished.

Some parts of the lyrics are kind of cringy. The song's pretty catchy but not in a good way...

  19. Paul Beaumont

    Wow this is awful.

  20. chickenlover

Said I'm okay, but I know how to lie.

    Haha, yes. Loving this, too.
Fun, catchy and true summer song.

quick thing @Jason Tate the tracklisting in the op of this thread is ordered, but on the news page it's unordered and just uses bullet points.

  22. Refresh (may need to clear cache) I actually just fixed that tonight! There's a ordered list but on the forums too I need to fix, but that's on tomorrow list. Thanks for the heads up! I definitely appreciate it.

I was such a looker in the old days Prestigious

It's terrible but wildly catchy. But yeah reminds me of 1985 and that Set Your Goals song "Product of the 80s"
