Finished catching up with the livestream this morning. Really dig this album a lot. Even the few songs that i would consider a tad weaker are enjoyable ti listen to and i appreciate them mixing it up a bit. My favorites are rejects, stepper, pink guitar, mean, and vertigo. Not sure where this album will end up overall, but it will probably be fairly high. Super happy with it and it was worth the wait!

I really like Castle in the Sand, and maybe I'm nitpicking here, but I feel like that chorus is BEGGING for vocal harmonies. I kept waiting for the payoff that never came :verysad:

Some of it’s good, some of it’s bad, and some of it’s downright terrible.

Which, come to think, is every Good Charlotte album.

Yeah it seems like their albums are always a mixed bag. I think Young and Hopeless is the only album that's good most of the way through

Id argue youth authority is worth listening to all the way through.

  13. RX and ST too.

i feel like im much bigger on RX than most. Only complaint was that it was too short. I look forward to your thoughts on the new one though!

Generation Rx was great and, dare I say, their most consistent?

I really liked Generation Rx. It needed a few more songs, but it was a nice wrinkle on their sound.

I think the first two are great all the way through for what they are

Probably nostalgia talking about Self Titled and Young And The Hopeless will never be topped for me in GC album rankings. Both are perfect imo.

very funny the way they've redone all the album covers on apple music but didn't/couldn't do cardiology

Weird. Cardiology is the new version on Spotify.

Looks like they will be performing "I Don't Work Here Anymore" on Fallon tonight. Interesting choice, but I'm excited to hear it.

Really solid album tbh! They've always done well with mid tempo rock songs, so to have an album in that vein works.

The only real song that I'm iffy on is Bodies but it'd fit perfectly on GMR.
