I just listened to it again and actually that song is alright if you tune out the corny lyrics. I skimmed through the songs I never listen to and I honestly think Bodies is probably their worst song. Unless we count Greatest Remixes. Then it’s a whole other ballgame.
Just noticed the album did come in at #43 on the U.S. album sales chart even though it wasn’t on the billboard 200.
Rejects up to #15. I have to say, im happily surprised it’s hanging around. I wonder what song they should push next to alternative radio. My choice would be Vertigo.
One of the best line ups with GC I saw here in America was Good Charlotte & Sum 41 co-headlining with Shiny Toy Guns & The Bravery opening.
My boomer, completely unworkable policy opinion is that festivals should not be able to pay extra to make bands an "exclusive". Benefits no-one.
Well they need to pay extra to cover all the travel costs for the band, crew, gear etc. Financially not worth it for the band to travel across the pond for only 1 show unless it's a significant payday. And I'm assuming due to scheduling conflicts they just didnt have it in the cards to do a full EU tour.
I have to assume they had lots of EU offers from festivals, would have made a lot of sense to do a short EU festival run. I don't think it's evil or anything it's just now Slam Dunk has less money to spend and fewer people in Europe will get to see GC.
What these are the only Europe dates for this whole album cycle? Lame. The UK is barely Europe for that matter lol
