Not sure if it’s accurate, but I saw credits somewhere that still listed dean. There was also a review that mentioned him. I suppose it’s possible he finished the drumming for the record before the decision to not be a part of the album rollout.
I really like it. Some stinkers, sure, but even those are typical bad GC tracks (Bodies) and that’s kind of endearing too. I also hear some of the Madden Brothers album on here. Overall I’m just really happy that I can add a handful of new GC bangers to the list.
If you follow them (arguably too) closely like @pbueddi and I do then you know they are into country. That and rap (and punk). That was also all present on the Madden Brothers album. EDIT: A thing I thought was funny: a while ago on the podcast the first thing that came to Joel’s mind when asked what he listened to the most growing up was Rancid and Eazy-E.
I haven’t really listened to anything that Good Charlotte has done for the last 20 years (until this came out)
I wasn’t taking a shot at you by the way. Possibly all the people in the world that have heard the Madden Brothers album are in this thread.
Still waiting on mine. Should be coming tomorrow or Tuesday. Still odd that billy and paul didn't sign.
It’s probably because the twins take care of everything and are like always together. Wouldn’t surprise me if these were sent to the MDDN office to sign.
The other week, I put the Madden Brothers album on for the first time since its release and found it illuminating. After two decades, it finally clicked that the twins' knack for harmonies comes from, I assume, being big Beach Boys fans.
apparently this took place by me in chicago the other day on a golf course, random! full set in solid quality
If by middle you mean "deserve you", then i guess i can see your point. Nothing else to slog through otherwise (besides Bodies").
How can you argue with the opinion of the poster? It is literally impossible for his statement to be deemed as "wrong".
It was more in jest than anything. Of course everyone has their own opinions (I never used the word "wrong"). I'm just stoked about my favorite band releasing new music for the first time in a long time and think it's a solid addition to their discography.
