i'm scared to listen to this. with Superstar Car Wash, Gutterflower and Hold Me Up as my favorite albums, everything since 2007 has been progressively worse. I'm not sure I can bring myself to give this one a go :/

 

Give Magnetic another try. That one has some good tunes. The most recent one has a number of good songs too.

Miracle Pill’s Think It Over was the song I wanted from them for a long time. I want more of that.

 

I checked out after Something For The Rest Of Us in 2010 (and even then, feel like I hung on longer than most). Have I missed anything significant?

 

I think that's their worst album, tbh. Everything since has been at least marginally better. Magnetic has a lot of great songs, especially on the back half, Miracle Pill has a handful of good tunes, and Chaos in Bloom is pretty good too. The "You Should Be Happy" EP is solid too.
