All Monsters Attack I watched a lot as a kid, but I have no interest in ever watching now. I remember every detail of the movie and that’s already haunting.
The team up shot feels like Legendary is wanting ‘Godzilla x Kong’ to be the ‘Avengers’ of the MonsterVerse and I’m not sure if I like it. Never been a big fan of Godzilla sprinting. This will certainly scratch an itch for certain fans while Minus One will do it for others. Everyone will be satisfied.
Ehhhh, kinda looks like dookie. Can't get over how silly the name and font are. CG looks bad and a lot of trailer just looks like Godzilla vs. Kong again. I'm really over the high-tech human stuff from that movie. Pink Godzilla is strange but kinda rad.
That little Kong is giving me some bad cheese vibes and I don't know if I really like the direction this is going. Honestly, we should just make a buddy cop movie with Kong and Godzilla as grizzled veterans on the force who don't play by the rules, and get scenes of them actually driving a car, except they're both their normal size, so the car is like the size of a skyscraper. I'd watch the shit out of that. Can't say the same for whatever's happening here.
I’m fine with the “Godzilla vs/x Kong” films going full throttle on the action and spectacle, but hopefully with solo Godzilla films going forward they ease up on that tone. I’m ready to watch Godzilla suplex some monsters after that trailer though.
Solo Godzilla films should be hard-boiled mysteries where Godzilla smokes a giant pipe. EDIT: Don't mind me, I'm in a weird mood.
