They definitely went too far with TNE. The Hollow Earth is okay….I guess. Anti-gravity fights were bizarre in a bad way. It’s as if Legendary sees GXK films as an Avengers franchise.

Other than some bits of Monarch, I don’t think the MV will ever get back to the vibes of G14, Skull Island, or KOTM.

 

I definitely did get Kaijuvengers vibes from that final battle with everyone dogpiling on Skar.

 

Do Godzilla vs Gamera, fuckwads.

 

With the MV embracing the cosmic nonsense, it would be great to retcon Alan Jonah from KOTM as a Xilien
